I often try to find a parallel between an album’s title and what I can perceive in the music, and in this particular album, I have found a lot of my own thoughts illustrated across the caressive flow of notes bloomed by Cousin Silas' guitar scapes. "Between Worlds" is the perfect soundtrack to everything that is happening in your head during that enveloping moment of isolation when you find yourself in the middle of those parallel inner universes that most of us inhabit. It mirrors a feeling that you’re all alone in this concrete puzzle, radiated by its pulsating lights and shadows, while you’re actually surrounded by hundreds of thousands of metaphors and allegories. This is exactly what you’ll find on this thrilling and soothing album, but as impressions that have been skillfully transformed into sound - a sound that is somehow tangible and somewhat distant, yet at the same time incredibly poetic and introspective as if it is only yours to witness.
