This is from an extremely limited run of only 50 copies worldwide, personally signed by The Rings guitarist Alan Lee Shaw. Celebrating the 40th year anniversary of the band’s original single, this January 2017 10” release, eponymously titled “The Rings”, features 6 tracks recorded on a Philips hand held microphone cassette recorder in May of 1977 at a rehearsal space in Saltram Crescent London W9 by Alan Lee Shaw, guitarist/songwriter of The Rings and exclusively owned by him, Copyright Control.
