RAISM - the religious philosophy that takes as its bible the body of woman. First documented in the slaughterhouse prayerbook "Raism" by High Priest James Havoc, this crawling cult has already attracted many clandestine adepts. Now, the Church of Raism has chosen to issue its own votive soundtrack.
Havoc and his cohorts, including members of Primal Scream, Felt and Strawberry Switchblade, have created ditch noise which reflects the many facets of their insurgent philosophy; from the sadism and venereal sorcery of "Crimes against Pussycat", through the destroyed innocence of "Assassination of Liberty", right up to the final labial psychosis of "Ditchfinder".
We for our part shall be this album (LP only) with James Havocs novel "RAISM" as a special limited edition package of 1,000.
