"Channelling The Quintessence Of Satan":
Drums & guitars were butchered to tape at Tonstudio Hörnix on 2 days 1998, a stereo rough mix was used as source for this version, vocals 2010.
"Channelling The Quintessence Of Satan" was inspired by Albrecht Dürer's copper engraving "Ritter, Tod und Teufel" 1513 and Ingmar Bergman's film "Det Sjunde Inseglet" 1957.
"The Satanic Tapes" were most grimly recorded directly into a Tascam 4-track recorder.

Tracks A1 to B4 (LP I) are based on the guitar and drum recordings of the 1999 Channeling The Quintessence Of Satan CD; this version here features an entirely different vocal and bass recordings, as well as corrected and improved arrangements and lyrics.
Tracks C1 to C6 (LP II) were originally released in 1993 as the Lux Devicta Est demo cassette.
Tracks D1 to D3 (LP II) were originally released in 1993 as the Promo Tape 2/94 cassette.
Tracks D4 to D6 (LP II) were originally released in 1993 as the Moonrise demo cassette.
Tracks E1 to F (7") were originally released in 1993 as the Ash Nazg... demo cassette.
