Savage Goth is the solo project of Matthew Kenworthy. It started as an anonymous online alias in December 2014 for posting home recordings online.

The project is Inspired by the intimate lofi recordings of Daniel Johnston and Tinged with themes from Walpole-esq Gothic romanticism and tongue-in-cheek B-movie horror, set against a backdrop of post-industrial Northern England.

Over 2014 he played a string of well received solo shows around Greater Manchester. The SAVAGE GOTH EP was self recorded in his girlfriends conservatory over August. He is now putting a full live band together to showcase the EP, starting on December 5th at the suitably named Cemetery Hotel in his Rochdale hometown.

This release is a 'double A side' produced on a c40 ferro teal shelled tape with the EP on both sides. Dubbed in real-time on pro Tascam decks. Black on-body print and enclosed in a matching teal norelco case.
