The label on this release is the 'classic' black & white design that UK Chrysalis had used for all Ultravox paper label singles from "Sleepwalk" through to "Reap The Wild Wind" (although it was also used for the UK paper label clear vinyl 7" version of this particular release as well). The label differs from another UK 12" single release (which also carries the same catalogue number) as well as the clear vinyl 12" single. The matrix numbers also slightly differ.

This edition is an early pressing in a "Special Low Price" stickered sleeve (at the time of release, Chrysalis UK offered the first batch of new 12" single releases in these stickered sleeves - other examples include Spandau Ballet, Icehouse, David Grant etc. This ploy was a marketing tool, utilised to generate sales to get an all important chart placing, leading to radio exposure and thus prompting further sales).

As previously noted, this label design had not been used for a UK Ultravox single since the "Reap The Wild Wind" release (though it is also used for the German edition of "We Came To Dance").

In common with the other black vinyl UK 12" single, the timing on the label states a duration of 7:58. This is incorrect. This is the running time for the clear vinyl 12" single. The running time for this release has been electronically timed at 7:35.
