“Stories” is Sparkling Bits first album to be released Dforms records. The guys already worked together on Kid Whisky’s album “Room” released on logos Records.This LP is a blend of hip-hop,wonky beats, electronic sounds, concrete recordings, old rusty samples, and traditional instruments from around the world. The aim is trying to make “organic” music where the sounds are interacting,influencing each other.It already received support from artists such as Robot Koch, Sun Glitters, Julien Mier,Portformat, Spongemagnet, EveryDayz, Turn Steak, Noza, Comfort Fit, and Squeaky Lobster...

Sparkling Bits are focusing a lot on that “organic” side of music. To achieve that goal they use sound recordings, complex evolving sound material, but also the structure of the tracks is seen as a living thing, like a growing tree. They try to avaoid traditional 8bars structures,Their influences are quite diverse going from a classical music background,to acousmatic music they studied in the Conservatoire Royal de Mons,through jazz, soul, housemusic and hip-hop.
