ARTIST NOTES:
Horizon XP is a recent step in the sphere sound-development, creating applications, which are based on Internet and hereby independent from the operation system. That can reach high priority in our activity, and it has also an important part among our further programs. The sound installation is built on a multi-channel step sequencer, which has 32 steps. That can control some element of the DSP engine with fixed architecture (coded in C), like the two independent wavetable oscillator, the state variable filter and the bit quantizer. There is a separate operating board to the construction of the oscillators' waveform with 36 points, where more basic functions helps in the editing. Every user use - similarly the Verticon XP installation - the same board, so there is chance for the co-operation employment of the application. But apart from this a simple patch memory is available, where anyone can store and recall the selves sequences.
