The tracks on this record were originally recorded in early 1977, but release was hampered by problems at the record pressing plant and subsequent disappearance of the master tapes.

This private release of just 3 copies was made from mono versions of the finished tracks found on a cassette tape which the band had made from the master tapes.

The tracks were remastered for vinyl in 2013.

The tracks were given a full vinyl release on 1 October 2014, in a Deluxe Edition of 25 (handmade wraparound sleeve, insert, vintage Hobbies Of Today lapel badge, download code and four colour photos of the band's debut gig); standard limited edition of 240 also (printed wraparound sleeve, insert and download code)
