This single was scheduled to be the first release from the "Red Shoes" album in the UK (as it was in America and other territories). However, the release was cancelled in favour of "Rubberband Girl" (the 'B' side and the catalogue number being retained). Apparently, all copies except 17 were destroyed by EMI. A 12" picture disc was also slated for issue but no known copies were either pressed or exist.
