The Intimate life of paramecium project has been created from an apparently abstract idea of penetrating the emotional life of protozoa. But is this the only reason? The musical story, which is just an episode in the life of a paramecium, is an attempt to engage in dialogue with the particular convention of school nature documentaries, the music of La Monte Young and Polish cinematography. However it’s hard to escape the impression that there’s no big difference between the life of the protozoa and ours.
