This variant of the album was released in 1979 in Japan (East World), Australia (Interfusion) and New Zealand (Parlophone) only. The release contained alternative tracks to avoid reusing songs already released in these countries on the album Gillan. The track listing was as follows:

The album comes with a 4 page black and white booklet with linernotes. Most of them are in Japanese but some are in English. The last ones are signed by Ian Gillan. One page has the lyrics in English.

Although this album always is credited to the band "Gillan", cover and album credit it to "Ian Gillan". The trademark writing of "Gillan" - which first appears on the european version of Mr. Universe - does not appear on this record.
