Japan-for-U.S. original Varèse Sarabande CD issue of their 1986 LP configuration (STV 81274), featuring the original soundtrack recording of "The Clan of the Cave Bear," both composed and performed by Alan Silvestri. The packaging features an eight-page booklet, with nine black-and-white photos from the production on the interior pages, and color front and back covers, the former featuring the key art of Daryl Hannah as Ayla from the original one-sheet poster, and the latter featuring two more photos from the production. (The character name of Creb is misspelled throughout the packaging as "Kreb" -- this error has been corrected for the tracklist. Also, the inlay card also indicates "Special Thanks to Brad Naples, New England Digital, James Campbell, Angel Balestier, and Patti Fidelibus."
