Guillermo Basterrechea half-known in Chile of the New Canto of the end of the seventies And in the early 1980s, his career is much more extensive and dates back to 1972 in Spain where I represent Chile at the Festival de la OTI of that year. This album is a tribute to Victor Jara and includes themes reversed by this great chilean troubadour in Spain, recorded in Madrid in 1975 and that counts with the collaboration of Rodrigo Garcia former member of the Colombian Speakers who clearly gives him a psychedelic touch in some passages. The versions of Plegaria del Labrador, Paloma Quiero Contarte or El Lazo are truly remarkable. A real gem.
