The japanese version contains a Region 2 NTSC DVD with all 33 videos of the European DVD-only Edition (http://www.albumsmusic.com/Simply-Red-The-Greatest-Video-Hits/release/1601338) but has 2 differences : the audio and video of DVD track#24 (Say You Love Me) are here in sync. and the japanese DVD also adds the latest "Go Now" video as track #34.
Packaging-wise, this japanese release looks like the european deluxe edition (http://www.albumsmusic.com/Simply-Red-The-Greatest-Hits-25-Deluxe-Edition/release/2659324) : a thick jewel case with an outer cardboard sleeve. The booklet is also the same and contains lyrics, photos and record sleeves. The Japanese version adds an obi, a small sheet insert with some japanese information and another "ConnecteD" leaflet which explains that at the time of release when you loaded the CD and connected to simplyred.jp before 2010-03-31 you could have gotten 3 bonus digital tracks : "Stars (Acoustic)", "Money's Too Tight (To Mention) 09. (Haji & Emanuel Club Mix)" and "Go Now (Triple Dee Club Remix)".
