"Cage Dead" was recorded during the Real World Recording Week, August 1992. It was composed in response to the news of John Cage's death and the entire musical material is derived from the notes C.A.G.E. (except the piano which also plays D.E.A.D.) always in that order and that way up.
The electric aoelian harp [heard on Thorn Tree Wind] was conceived and constructed by Geoffrey Richardson, Mike Lesser and Simon Jeffes.
Although track 16 indicates a time of 1.03 on the cover the actual time is 5.19 on the disc.,
After one minute of music their is silence for 24 seconds then a sound of what seams to be dripping water, electronically generated.
Packaging: standard jewel case with 8 page foldout booklet
